Well, it’s official – the GenderSwap Books website is now live! Our first two gender-swapped classic novels (Dracula and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde) have been available for a little while on the Amazon Kindle store, but it’s exciting to be able to launch our own website and sell our eBooks directly.

Who are we, and what is a gender-swapped book? In essence, a genderswap book is one where the gender of the characters has been changed from male to female or vice versa – imagine a female Sherlock Holmes, or a male Elizabeth Bennett. At GenderSwap Books, we take that concept and apply it to classic works of English literature that are out of copyright, giving a fascinating new perspective on novels we’re all familiar with.
